Overview

CompressEazy is a browser-based image tools suite. Every tool on this site — compression, resizing, format conversion, editing, and more — processes your images entirely within your web browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and Web APIs. No image data is ever uploaded to any server.

No Data Collection

CompressEazy does not collect, store, transmit, or process any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not require user accounts, registration, or login.
• We do not collect names, email addresses, or any personally identifiable information through our tools.
• We do not track or log which images you process.
• We do not use any server-side processing, databases, or cloud storage for your files.

The only exception is the Contact Us form, where you may voluntarily provide your name and email address to send us a message. This information is processed by Web3Forms and is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

Image Processing — 100% Client-Side

This is the core privacy guarantee of CompressEazy:

• Your images never leave your device. All compression, resizing, cropping, format conversion, watermarking, and other operations happen inside your browser.
• We use the HTML5 Canvas API, the File API, and other standard Web APIs to process files locally.
• No image data is sent to our servers or any third-party servers.
• Once you close or refresh the page, all processed data is discarded from browser memory.

Cookies & Local Storage

CompressEazy does not use cookies. We use browser localStorage for a single purpose:

• Theme preference: We store your light/dark mode choice (theme key) in localStorage so your preference persists across visits.

This data is stored entirely on your device, is never transmitted to any server, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-840LCEDYNL) to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects:

• Page views and navigation patterns
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
• Browser type, device type, and screen resolution
• Referral source (how you found our site)

Google Analytics does not have access to any images you process. No image data, file names, or file contents are ever sent to Google or any other analytics provider. For more details on how Google handles data, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Third-Party Libraries

CompressEazy loads certain open-source JavaScript libraries from CDN providers (Cloudflare CDN, jsDelivr) on demand for specific features:

• heic2any — HEIC to JPEG/PNG conversion
• JSZip — ZIP file creation for bulk downloads
• jsPDF — PDF generation
• PDF.js — PDF rendering
• qrcode-generator — QR code generation
• Tesseract.js — Optical character recognition (OCR)

These libraries run entirely in your browser. They do not transmit your image data to external servers. CDN providers may log standard HTTP request metadata (IP address, user agent) in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Service Worker & Offline Support

CompressEazy is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that uses a service worker to cache assets locally on your device. This enables:

• Faster page loads on repeat visits
• Offline functionality for tools you've previously visited

The service worker caches only the site's HTML pages, CSS, JavaScript, and icon assets. It never caches your images or any user-generated content. You can clear this cache at any time through your browser's settings (Clear Site Data).

No User Accounts

CompressEazy does not offer user accounts, profiles, or any form of authentication. There is no sign-up, no login, and no password storage. Every visitor can use all tools freely and anonymously.

Children's Privacy

CompressEazy does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.

Data Security

Because your images are processed entirely within your browser and never transmitted to our servers, the security of your image data is governed by your own device and browser security. We serve our site over HTTPS to protect the integrity and confidentiality of data in transit between your browser and our hosting provider (Cloudflare).

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Since CompressEazy's fundamental architecture is client-side processing, our core privacy guarantee — that your images never leave your device — will not change.
